Euro 2016 final : Portugal VS France

Cristiano Ronaldo’s header, quickly followed by a goal by Nani, sent Portugal into the final of Euro 2016 in France.

Wales, the heroic underdog of Euro 2016, battled bravely but lost the semi-final match 2-0 on Wednesday July 7.

Host nation France beat Germany 2-0 tonight and made it through the final against Portugal this weekend.

Where is it being held?

Paris! The Stade de France will host the final.

What time is kick-off?

It’s at 8pm BST.

More than 80,000 spectators will watch as the champions of Europe are crowned at the end of the month-long tournament.

What TV channel will be showing the final?

BBC One and ITV will both broadcast the all-important football match, with coverage starting at 7pm and ending at 10.30pm.

Gary Lineker will present the coverage of the final on the BBC’s Match of the Day live programme.

Over on ITV, Mark Pougatch introduces live coverage with commentary from Clive Tyldesley and Glenn Hoddle.
